Transportation
The Massena Central School District Transportation Department takes its role in educating our students very seriously. Approximately 2000 students in the district are eligible for transportation services. All students who live outside the walking perimeter of the school they attend are eligible for transportation, as set by the Board of Education.

Bus Routes
Please note, for pick up points in the village, students should be at the pick up points nearest their residence. All students should be ready and waiting at least 10 minutes prior to pick up. If you have questions call 764-3700, EXT 3020.
Walking Boundaries:
Modification to the Elementary Dismissal Schedule
- Transfer students (students that ride a bus to another school to catch a bus home) will be dismissed as follows: Madison @ 2:55pm with 1st trip buses, Nightengale @ 3pm and Jefferson at 3pm.
- All walkers will be dismissed as follows: Nightengale @ 2:55pm, Madison @ 3pm and Jefferson @ 3:05pm.
- Remaining bus students at all elementary schools will be dismissed between 3:15pm and 3:25pm. If you plan to pick your child up, please arrive after the transfer buses, but before the regular buses. Please use the school parking lot, do not park and leave your vehicle unattended in the designated bus drop off / pick up zone.
