Sapling to Cedars Starting on Tuesday the 29th, the Sapling to Cedars program began at JW Leary. This is a program that the Seven Dancers Coalition is bringing to our young Native Men. Our presenters, John Pray Lazore and Harvey Herne are leading our young men through a 6-week study of traditional Native American culture. Our two sessions this week focused on the Thanksgiving Address. Our students have been a great audience and the presenters have done a great job. We are so lucky to have such wonderful community partners to work with our students.
