Latchkey Enrollment
The latchkey program is a before and after school childcare, available for all Pre-k - Grade 6 students in the Massena Central School District.
The program offers a variety of interest centers designed to enhance the children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. Activities and equipment are selected to be fun, stimulating and educational. Our staff follows a daily routine to ensure consistency.
The Latchkey Program will be held at the following locations:
6:30am - 8:30am - Nightengale Elementary School
3:00pm - 6:00pm - Nightengale Elementary School
Parent/Guardians must be present to sign their child in and out daily.
The cost is $3.00 per hour per child. A family discount is available for three or more children at a cost of $2.50 per hour per child.
►If your child/children attended the program last year, all forms need to be completed again for the new school year.
If school is delayed, there will be no Latchkey childcare. However, MCS will continue to offer Latchkey on unscheduled early release days or when there are no after school activities until 6:00 pm.
