Students worked in teams of three or four to write the PSAs.  The unit also included instruction in common advertising techniques used in magazines and on television, as well as several filming tricks.

The introduction for the Cyberbullying PSAs was done by the school's guidance counselors to help raise awareness to this problem.  These PSAs were entered in a national contest sponsored by The Ad Council and Sony Creative Software.

The Recycling PSAs were entered into an Earth Day Competition sponsored by the New York State Senate.
