Alternative Education Skypes with Annie Clements
On Friday, May 4, at Alternative Education, Ms. Ladouceur’s class had a Skype session with Annie Clements, bassist for the band Sugarland. The students researched Annie Clements and her career online and were asked to come up with three questions that couldn’t be answered on Ms. Clements’ website (http://www.annieclementsmusic.com). After each student asked their question, she had a conversation with the student about their future career choice and how they were going to achieve success in life

“I met Annie at a Sugarland concert a few years ago and she seemed like a very down to earth, genuine person. I have kept in contact with her through the years. She agreed to speak to a group of seniors last year about career options, and the students loved it, so I thought I’d ask again. I think everyone involved had a great time. The students were very nervous to ask questions, but eager to get answers. At one point, Annie even sang a song with a student” said Ms. Ladouceur.
"I had such a great time chatting with the students. I love hearing about their dreams and aspirations and learning about their lives. I had a great time getting to know them" said Annie Clements.
